Online betting carries up to 7 years in prison or a fine of up to ৳5 crore. The Cyber Security Ordinance 2025 (section 20) also makes gambling in cyberspace, including promoting it, an offence. NAGAD88's Curaçao licence does not make betting legal in Bangladesh.
