In the example the expected cost differs by ৳7 per ৳1,000 staked between the dearest and the cheapest sportsbook.
Match winner and total runs over/under have two outcomes, so the margin is spread thin. Top batter and method of dismissal cost more.
At a 5% margin per leg, a five-leg accumulator carries a margin of 22.6%.
Decide how much you can afford to lose, set a deposit limit where the sportsbook offers one and stop when you reach it.
Usually match winner and total runs over/under, because they have only two outcomes. Markets with many outcomes, such as top batter or method of dismissal, carry more margin.
A Test can end in a draw if time runs out before a result. T20 and ODI matches are played to a result, so the match-winner market has two outcomes.
The Duckworth-Lewis-Stern (DLS) method sets a revised target in shortened limited-overs matches. How a sportsbook settles bets on a shortened or abandoned match is in its own rules, so read them before you bet.

No. The Gambling Prevention Act 2026, passed by Parliament in 2026, replaces the Public Gambling Act 1867. Online or remote gambling carries up to five years in prison or a fine of up to Tk 1 crore, and online betting up to seven years or Tk 5 crore. Section 20 of the Cyber Security Ordinance 2025 also makes gambling in cyberspace, including promoting it, punishable by up to two years or Tk 1 crore.
