Prepaid cards at betting sites: pay with a set amount
A prepaid card or voucher holds a fixed amount that you load in advance. You pay the bookmaker with it, without sharing a bank card, and you cannot spend more than is on it.
Prepaid methods usually work for deposits only, so you need a second method for withdrawals. The Gambling Prevention Act 2026 replaced the Public Gambling Act 1867 and makes online gambling and online betting criminal offences in Bangladesh. A foreign licence held by a bookmaker, such as Curaçao, does not make betting legal here.

FAQ
What is a prepaid card for betting?
A card or voucher loaded with a fixed amount in advance, used to pay online without a bank card.
Can I withdraw to a prepaid card?
Usually not. Most bookmakers pay out to an e-wallet or bank instead, so set one up and verify it before you need it.
Is a prepaid card a good budget tool?
It caps what you can deposit at the loaded amount, which helps. A deposit limit at the bookmaker does the same job.
Are there fees?
Buying or loading prepaid cards can cost a fee, and currency conversion can add more.
Is it legal to use this method for betting in Bangladesh?
No payment method makes betting legal. The Gambling Prevention Act 2026 makes online gambling and online betting offences in Bangladesh, and a bookmaker's foreign licence does not change this. See our responsible gambling page.
