No-deposit bonus: what you get for signing up
A no-deposit bonus is a small bonus or free bet you receive for opening an account, without paying anything in.
The bookmaker carries the risk, so the terms are strict: a short expiry, a max win and often a rollover. Here is what to check.
- Deposit needed
- No to receive the bonus
- Free bet at odds 3.00
- 63% of the amount, 5% margin
- Common limits
- Max win and a short expiry
- Withdrawal
- After KYC sometimes after a deposit
Short answer
Is a no-deposit bonus worth it?
It costs nothing to claim, but the value is small. A no-deposit free bet at odds 3.00 is worth about 63% of its amount on average, and a max win can cap what you keep.
Bonus maths
Valuing a no-deposit free bet
Value ≈ amount × (odds − 1) ÷ odds
with margin: × (1 − margin)
Example:
100 × 2.00 ÷ 3.00 × 0.95 = ৳63.3
Small amount, same maths
A ৳100 free bet at odds 3.00 pays ৳200 if it wins, without the stake.
What it means: at a 5% margin the chance is 31.7%, and 31.7% × ৳200 = ৳63.

Glossary
Bonus terms
- Free bet
- A bet where the bookmaker pays the stake. So what: only the winnings are paid out, the stake is not returned.
- Rollover
- How many times the bonus (sometimes plus the deposit) must be staked before it can be withdrawn. So what: every taka you stake costs the bookmaker's margin on average, so a high rollover eats the value.
- Max win
- The most you can win from bonus money. So what: a cap lowers the value of bets at high odds.
- Expiry
- How long the bonus or free bet can be used. So what: anything not used in time is removed from the account.
- KYC
- Know your customer: the identity check before a withdrawal. So what: a bonus can sit locked until your account is verified.
FAQ
What is a no-deposit bonus?
A small bonus or free bet for signing up, without making a deposit. Bookmakers use it to let new customers try the site.
Can I withdraw winnings from a no-deposit bonus?
Usually only after the terms are met, and often only up to a max win. Most bookmakers also ask for verification, and some require a deposit before the first withdrawal.
Why are no-deposit bonuses small?
The bookmaker takes all the risk, so amounts are low and terms are tight: short expiry, a max win and sometimes a high rollover.
Do I need a code?
Some no-deposit offers need a bonus code at sign-up. If a code is needed, the offer page says so.
Is it legal to claim a betting bonus in Bangladesh?
No bonus changes the law. The Gambling Prevention Act 2026 makes online gambling and online betting offences in Bangladesh, and a bookmaker's foreign licence does not make it legal. Read our responsible gambling page before you decide anything.
